Ground Shakers to Feathered Flyers

A major international exhibition coming to Wollaton Hall, Nottingham 1 July-29 October 2017

Featuring fossils and specimens never seen outside of Asia, the exhibition will bring to life the story of how dinosaurs evolved into the birds that live alongside us today.

The exhibition will include some of the best preserved dinosaur fossils from anywhere in the world, with many species new to science, only discovered in the last 20 years.

Dinosaurs will include Gigantoraptor, the largest feathered dinosaur ever found, Microraptor, a flying four-winged dinosaur,Sinraptor, over seven metres long, this two legged super predator is one of the largest to be discovered in China. (for information on all dinosaurs exhibited go to

School visits to the exhibition will be teacher led and can only be booked online at

Dino Doze Sleepover event: We are pleased to announce that we have set the dates for our Dinosaur sleepover event at Wollaton Hall to coincide with the Dinosaurs of China exhibition running from 1 July-29 October 2017.  The attached document gives more details about dates and arrangements for these sleepovers. The sleepovers will run for 6 nights in September and due to space within the Hall we will only have a limited number of spaces available for this event.
