We rely on our volunteers to help us deliver exceptional visitor experiences across our heritage sites. Vital for the service and personally rewarding to those who get involved, there are plenty of opportunities available.
We are always looking for volunteers to join our team. Roles range from working with the public, helping with family-friendly activities, assisting curatorial staff, or simply mucking in with the upkeep of our beautiful gardens. For the majority of roles, no specialist knowledge is required; you just need buckets of enthusiasm, a friendly can-do attitude and a willingness to get stuck in.
We rely on our volunteers as their gift of time and commitment makes a genuine difference to the work we are able to achieve as a service. As a thank you, volunteers receive free entry into our heritage sites; invites to previews, conferences, and the annual volunteer awards.
If you see a role you’re interested in, please complete an application form and return. For more information call 0115 876 2205 (Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm), or email firstname.lastname@example.org
