Volunteering with Nottingham City Museums and Galleries

We are always looking for volunteers to join our friendly team! Volunteer roles range from working with the public, helping with family friendly activities, assisting curatorial staff, to mucking in with the upkeep of some of our beautiful gardens. You don’t need specialist knowledge to volunteer in most of our roles but you do needs buckets of enthusiasm, a friendly can do attitude and a willingness to get stuck in!
We are very grateful to our volunteers, whose vital contributions make a real and valued difference to our work. Your time with us will be rewarded in many ways from free entry to our sites, invites to previews,  conferences, celebration events and our annual volunteer awards.

You can read some volunteer stories and find out more about current projects in our latest newsletter: Volunteer Approach Spring 2017

Volunteers share their experiences of volunteering with Nottingham City Museums and Galleries in this short video.
